In the middle of the 1960s, “The Magilla Gorillas Show” was one of the most popular Hanna-Barbera animated series. This animated series centres on the adventures of Magilla, a troublesome but intelligent monkey. The antics of this character amused the audience and also piqued their interest to see the next episode. There is no better location to sell comic books than Dylan Universe Comics if you enjoy vintage cartoons and comic books.

Magilla was once an ape that was advertised as being “for sale” at Melvin Peebles’ shop. The businessman demanded that Magilla be sold right away because he was no longer able to pay for the ape’s maintenance. To attract customers, Melvin even resorted to drastically lowering Magilla’s asking price.

Unfortunately, the initial purchasers of Magilla were robbers. Magilla was going to be their tool or partner in their crimes. Magilla didn’t assist the crooks, though; instead, he only caused them trouble. To make a long tale short, the thieves brought Magilla back to Pebbles’ shop.

But like the first buyer, Magilla believed he was being taken advantage of. He didn’t collaborate as a result. Soon later, the advertising company gave Magilla back to Mr. Peebles as well.

The buyers would continue to demand Mr. Pebbles return their money in this manner. We’ll try again next week is the tagline Magilla uses to close out each episode.

A young girl named Ogee was the only character in the episode who genuinely wanted to buy Magilla and care for him. Sadly, Ogee first failed to persuade her parents to purchase Magilla.
